WELCOME TO IDYLLIUM BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
(“Idyllium,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using our services. By accessing or using our telehealth platform, website, or in-person services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
These Terms apply to both our telehealth services (therapy and psychiatry) and our future in-person services.
1. OUR SERVICES
Idyllium Behavioral Health provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy services via telehealth and, in the future, at physical office locations. We serve children, adolescents, and adults, as clinically appropriate.
Our services are provided by licensed and credentialed mental health professionals.
Idyllium is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
2. ELIGIBILITY
By using our services, you confirm that you:
Are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.
Reside in a state where our providers are licensed to practice.
Will provide accurate, honest, and up-to-date information.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services at our discretion.
3. TELEHEALTH CONSENT
By using our telehealth services, you consent to receive care via telecommunication technology. This includes audio, video, or electronic communication.
You acknowledge and understand:
Telehealth has limitations compared to in-person visits.
Technology may fail (e.g., poor connection).
Sensitive topics will be discussed, and privacy is important.
You have the right to withdraw consent at any time.
We comply with HIPAA regulations to protect your personal health information.
4. SCHEDULING, CANCELLATIONS, AND FEES
Appointments are scheduled online or through direct communication with our office.
Cancellation Policy: We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows are billed 100% of the session cost.
Fees: Pricing for services will be communicated prior to booking. You are responsible for any applicable copayments, deductibles, or out-of-pocket costs.
We reserve the right to update our fees and policies at any time, with notice.
5. INSURANCE & PAYMENTS
We accept select insurance plans and offer private-pay options.
You are responsible for verifying your insurance benefits. We cannot guarantee coverage and are not responsible for services not covered by your insurance provider.
All outstanding balances are your responsibility and must be paid promptly.
6. PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY
Your privacy is important to us. We comply with applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA, to safeguard your personal health information. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how your information is collected, used, and protected.
7. LIMITATIONS OF SERVICE
Our services are not a substitute for emergency care or specialized medical attention beyond mental health services. We do not prescribe controlled substances outside clinical guidelines, and we do not manage certain conditions that require in-person assessment.
If a provider determines that you require in-person care, we will provide referrals as appropriate.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on our website and platforms (text, graphics, logos, etc.) is owned by or licensed to Idyllium Behavioral Health. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or misuse our content without permission.
9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
While we strive to provide high-quality, accessible care, we do not guarantee specific outcomes. Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Idyllium Behavioral Health is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
11. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting an updated version on our website with the effective date.
Idyllium Behavioral Health offers thoughtful, client-focused mental health services designed to support personal growth and well-being.
