Credit Card Policy

Home / Credit card Policy

At Idyllium Behavioral Health, we are committed to making the payment process as smooth and transparent as possible for our patients. This Credit Card Policy outlines how we handle credit card payments for services rendered and sets expectations for patients regarding billing and payment terms.

1. Credit Card Information Storage

To make the payment process convenient, we offer the option to store your credit card information securely in our system. This information will only be used for:

  • Payment for services rendered at Idyllium Behavioral Health.

  • Automatic billing for scheduled follow-up appointments or recurring services, if applicable.
We use encrypted payment processors and comply with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) to ensure that your payment information is securely stored and protected.

2. Authorization for Credit Card Payments

By providing your credit card information, you authorize Idyllium Behavioral Health to charge your card for services rendered. Charges may include:

  • Initial consultation and evaluation fees

  • Follow-up appointments

  • Missed or late-cancelled appointments (as per our Cancellation Policy)

  • Outstanding balances for past services rendered
In some cases, payments may be automatically processed according to the terms of your care plan or payment arrangement.

3. Automatic Payments and Recurring Charges

If you have a recurring treatment plan, such as therapy or medication management sessions, you may elect to set up automatic monthly payments for convenience. By choosing this option:

  • Your credit card will be charged automatically on a recurring basis for each scheduled session.

  • You will receive an email reminder prior to each payment being processed.

  • You can update, change, or cancel your automatic payment at any time by notifying us at least 48 hours prior to the next scheduled payment.

4. Late or Missed Payments

If payment is not received on the scheduled date, we will attempt to charge the provided credit card.

  • Late fees may apply if payment is not received within 7 days of the due date.

  • If payment is not successfully processed within 30 days, your account may be considered delinquent, and services may be suspended until payment is made.

5. Refunds

In the event of a billing error or overpayment, Idyllium Behavioral Health will issue a refund to the original payment method. Refunds will typically be processed within 7-14 business days from the date of the request.

6. Cancellation Policy

We require 48-hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Missed appointments or cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time will incur a charge of 100% of the billed service, which will be charged to the credit card on file.

7. Security and Privacy

We prioritize the security of your personal and financial information. Our payment processing is handled through secure, HIPAA-compliant systems to ensure that your information is protected. We do not share your credit card information with third parties except as necessary to process payments.

8. Changes to the Credit Card Policy

Idyllium Behavioral Health reserves the right to modify this Credit Card Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to patients via email or posted in our office. You will have the option to review and accept the updated policy before any future payments are processed.
